Bailiwick Law Enforcement has been informed of scam emails being sent to licensees of the Guernsey Financial Services Commission.
Licensees may have received emails from an account ending in “guernseyfsc.com”. These emails are not legitimate and should be deleted.
Legitimate emails from GFSC will always end in “gfsc.gg.”
“Never open links included in emails you are not expecting or do not look legitimate,” said Bailiwick Law Enforcement, as it reminded Guernsey residents to remain vigilant online.
If you feel that you have been the victim of an online scam, contact Guernsey Police on 222222, or report it to Action Fraud on 0300 123 2040 or via actionfraud.police.uk.
