GDA holding its first Flag Day

Saturday 11 August 2018

Today is the Guernsey Disability Alliance's first flag day, marking the second part of its 10 day fundraising campaign.

The GDA have volunteers spread all over the island at 10 different locations in a drive to raise money to help continue supporting all types of disability on Guernsey.

A spokesperson for the charity said: "We wish to thank our members and supporters taking shifts on the day, the locations and stores, and of course the members of the public donating.

"If we can raise over £2,000 we will reach our £10,000 in 10 days target. Please donate if you can."

The GDA previously started to raise money with a silent auction at its 10th anniversary ball this week. That pushed the alliance toward its target.

1. COOP St Martins
2. COOP SSampson’s
