Expectant mothers in Guernsey can no longer visit the island's maternity ward for a 'tour' ahead of their due date, but can instead take a virtual look-around.
Health and Social Care has put a stop to the tours because of 'potential issues' with infection control, privacy and data protection for patients.
It has, however, launched a five minute video about Loveridge Ward which is available to all soon-to-be parents as well as the rest of the community.
Anyone with concerns or queries about an upcoming birth can contact staff on 725241.
