A charity which has focused on improving pedestrian safety across the island could be forced to close unless new committee members join at its AGM this week.
Living Streets - which used to be called STEPS - marked its 20th anniversary in May 2022.
It was founded by Pat Wisher who has since acted as the charity's secretary and fundraiser in a voluntary role.
Mrs Wisher says the time has come for her to stand down. Her retirement will come at the same time as that of Tom Le Pelley who is standing down as Chairman, a role he has held for a decade, and Judith Le Tissier who has been a committee member for the whole two decades.
Each of the three are in their 80s, and Mrs Wisher says anyone considering standing for any of the vacant roles should be keen walkers and passionate about pedestrian safety as they are.
She says the work may suit someone who is retired but wants to keep busy with secretarial, administration, and organisational skills a benefit.

Mrs Wisher says that the charity has celebrated many achievements over the past two decades - most notably the development of a pedestrian pathway for students walking to/from the Baubigny Schools.
She says that is now at risk if no one is able to take on responsibility for its upkeep - something which Mrs Wisher says will be a "tragedy" if it happens.
Other achievements have been the ongoing 'Be Safe, Be Seen' weeks where high visibility clothing is given to members of the public.
Work to encourage more one way systems for motorists to enable safe walking spaces, and lower speed limits in busy areas are also ongoing.
Mrs Wisher is happy to discuss the workload and commitment needed for any new members at the charity's AGM on Wednesday night at the PEH from 18:30.
