HSC organising short-notice 'drop-ins' for those yet to have vaccines

Wednesday 16 June 2021

The States wants to maximise the number of vaccinations it can dispense by launching a series of drop-in sessions this week.

The sessions will be advertised at short notice at the end of a morning or evening clinic.

Last week, it was announced that being doubled dosed would be a prerequisite for free travel within the Common Travel Area.

They’ll be separated between Pfizer or Moderna drop-ins, and AstraZeneca drop-ins; both groupings will be advertised through the States of Guernsey social media channels.

Islanders should only turn up for the vaccine drop-in for their age group. Pfizer and Moderna, aged 39 or younger; AstraZeneca, 40 or over.

They’ll be held at Beau Sejour on a first-come, first-seved basis, and you don’t need to be registered with a GP. You’ll just need to bring valid ID, confirming your address and date of birth, and confirmation of your GY number.
