Dog owners could help police with enquiries

Tuesday 29 January 2019

A couple walking their dog near Portinfer on Sunday could help Guernsey Police with enquiries into an incident in the area.

It happened around 09:30 on Sunday 27 January in the fields near Portinfer Timber Yard, which is a popular area for dog walkers.

Guernsey Police said an incident had occurred between dog owners there.

To try and find out what happened they want to speak with a man and woman, described as being in their mid-50's. They were walking a chocolate coloured Labradoodle or Cockapoo and the dog was wearing a yellow hi-viz vest.

Guernsey Police stressed they are not in any trouble and only need to be spoken with regarding this incident.

Anyone who knows the couple is asked to make them aware of this appeal and to contact PC 65 Donnelly on 725111.
