"Disrespectful and totally disgusting behaviour"

Saturday 05 June 2021

One of the public benches at Moulin Huet was thrown over the cliffs in an act of "totally disgusting" vandalism.

The tearooms were vandalised sometime between Tuesday evening and Wednesday morning.

The log wall was damaged and a public bench thrown over onto the rocks below, in what has been described as a "disrespectful and totally disgusting" act by the person who reported it to police.

They said the bench had been "smashed beyond repair".

Anyone who witnessed this or has information about what happened should contact Guernsey Police on 01481 222222. Alternatively, people can contact CrimeStoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
