Demolition to make way for Premier Inn

Friday 30 August 2019

Work on the new Premier Inn hotel in Guernsey is progressing with the next phase of demolition work starting today.

Part of the through road at Admiral Park is one way while the work gets underway.

The traffic management and diversions as pictured below are expected to be in place until Monday 2 September.

It was announced earlier this summer that a Premier Inn is to open at Admiral Park in 2021.

The national hotel chain has been granted a liquor licence and plans to open as soon as possible, once the new facility has been built from scratch.

It is being built on the site of the former Sydney Vane house which has stood empty as the rest of Admiral Park has been developed around it.

Local building contractor JW Rihoy & Son has been awarded the contract for the complete Admiral Park development, working with Comprop on the new hotel.
