Dashcam drivers could help burglary enquiry

Saturday 19 January 2019

The clothing shop George has been burgled and Guernsey Police are wanting to take a modern look at any evidence which might be available.

The incident happened on Monday 14 January, between 19:15 and 19:50.

The shop on La Grande Rue, St. Martins, is next door to a garage and is surrounded by other businesses and houses so it is hoped that someone may have seen something.

Guernsey Police said the investigating officers want to speak to anyone with information, or who believes they saw anybody acting suspiciosly in the area at that time.

They also want to hear from anyone with a dashcam in their car who may have been driving along La Grande Rue at those times, who may have inadvertently caught some evidence on tape.

DC France is investigating and can be called at Guernsey Police CID on 725111 or via Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
