Guernsey Police are looking for someone who speaks Turkish to help them with an enquiry.
The translator is needed to support a Turkish national who was involved in a road traffic collision, which officers are investigating.
A spokesperson said the translator would need to "be able to fluently translate English to Turkish and vice versa in both written and verbal formats."
The ideal person would previously have had a police background check and if they have not had one they would have to be prepared to undergo one, "due to the sensitive information they will encounter while helping police."
Anyone with the skills required who is willing to assist the police can contact PC Andy Bell at the Guernsey Police by calling 725111.
