Buses are back, with masks, social distancing and no cash

Monday 08 March 2021

All daytime bus services are returning this week, however cash payments will not be accepted again until Stage 3.

The only exception to the scheduled return of bus service will be that the night owl services remain suspended until Stage 3, which has been mooted for two weeks' time.

Despite its return, some restrictions will still be in place; capacity will be limited to maintain social distancing, face coverings are still required unless exempt; and cash fares won’t be allowed until Stage 3.

You can find the whole timetable online and you can contact CT Plus directly – 700456 - if you have any questions about journeys.

Meanwhile, The States of Guernsey is still encouraging ‘Active Travel’ wherever possible, an initiative spearheaded by the Health Improvement Commission.

“Travelling actively is a great opportunity to catch up with friends and get some fresh air,” said Be Active Lead, Alun Williams.
