Art for Guernsey latest exhibition, Taking Stock - Reflecting on the past, looking to the future, will open on Friday.
It explores the legacy of the charity’s journey to date, and embraces the artists and scholarship students who will be part of its journey in the future.
The show will present artworks from the artists and exhibitions Art for Guernsey has curated over the last eight years, including locally based and international artists in residence.
For each, the exhibition will typically feature some favourite artworks from prior exhibitions, alongside previously unseen treasures and a selection of contemporary works.
The show is also an opportunity to welcome some new faces in locally based artists whom the charity is excited to introduce, with a view to featuring them in the future.
This includes works from young artists who have taken part in the charity's Scholarship Programme.
"We felt that the time was right to stop and take a moment to reflect on what has been achieved since Art for Guernsey's inception, with more than eight years behind us and over a year in the new gallery," said Director Jock Petti.
"We have achieved so much that we felt it was important to pause and take stock, giving time to the fantastic artworks and the community and education projects that we have curated.
"We are also keen to embrace some new faces that will be part of our future activities, before moving on to the next challenge.
"In preparing the works for this exhibition, we have been struck by the quality and diversity of the artworks we have on show and how they work so well together. We are extremely excited to share this exhibition, with its diverse blend of artists and artworks old and new, and we can't wait to share these milestones on our journey with our supporters and the wider community."
There will be artists' talks and workshops throughout the duration of the exhibition.
The gallery is in Mansell Street.
