The high spring tide will continue to affect the west and east coasts this evening and tomorrow morning.
A 9.8m tide is expected at around 20:30 tonight, with the west coast likely to experience a simultaneous northwesterly force four wind.
An amber tide warning has been issued for the east coast from 08:40 tomorrow, with a tide height of 10m and a north easterly wind of between force four and five.
Waves are likely to break over sea walls, covering roads and pathways with water and debris.
Water spilled over onto the Town Quay just after 08:00 this morning as a 10.2m spring tide arrived.
