A Guernsey-based boutique garden retailer will feature in an official commemorative album celebrating the global car club for Rolls-Royce and Bentley Enthusiasts (RREC).
Nick Martel, founder and owner of Avant Garden Bronzes, was selected to explain his local business in ‘Strive for Perfection: Celebrating 20 years of Goodwood’.
The 400-page hardback book contains a series of stories written by established motoring journalists and industry experts and was curated to mark the 20th anniversary of Rolls-Royce’s rolling out its production plant in Goodwood, West Sussex.
History, manufacturing, sustainable luxury, and the future all feature.
Mr Martel’s life and work selling bronze sculptures and high-end garden furniture, and how he grew his business out of the Channel Islands to the national and international is the subject of one of the books many features.

At the book’s launch a range of high-end brands will be present, including Mr Martel on behalf of his business.
“Being invited to be part of this landmark commemorative album celebrating the 20thanniversary of Rolls-Royce’s state of the art production plant at Goodwood is an unbelievable privilege and honour,” he said.
The album will be launched at Grosvenor House hotel in central London on Friday 6 October 2023, and has been produced by renowned publisher St. James’s House.

Last year, Mr Martel was selected to feature in the Official Platinum Jubilee Pageant Commemorative Album, in what turned out to be the final year in the life of Her Majesty the Queen.
