Extra staff have been drafted in after the number of daily calls to Condor hit 1,000 amid a further spate of cancellations and delays this week.
The ferry provider called off its high-speed sailings earlier this week over fears that stormy weather over the English Channel would push wind speeds “above safe operating levels.”
Initially, travel from Poole was called off on Wednesday and Thursday – but now Condor has unveiled a fresh set of delays, reschedulings and, in some cases, cancellations extending to Sunday.
Officials said they were working hard to contact and assist passengers, offering them alternative sailings or a refund.

The mass disruption has led the team to take over 1,000 calls per day.
Additional staff have now been “drafted into Condor’s contact centre and port offices” to manage the load.
