Ever wondered if there’s a painting that looks like you?
Wonder no more, as Google has rolled out its Art Selfie feature globally so that anyone can take a selfie and scan a database of thousands of artworks for a match.
The tool, which appears in the Google Arts & Culture app, uses computer vision technology based on machine learning to pair up your facial features with a piece of art.
Only users in parts of the US and in Canada, Australia, New Zealand, India were able to use Art Selfie when it first launched earlier this year, but now it’s available to everyone.
Google has partnered with 650 museums to compile artwork from across the world, displaying your potential doppelgänger alongside information about the paintings.
“Your selfie becomes a doorway into art — tap on your lookalike to discover more information about it or an artist that perhaps you’ve never heard of before,” explained product manager Michelle Luo.
“Together with our partner museums we are constantly experimenting with new ways for people to discover and interact with art.”
The Google Arts & Culture app can be downloaded on iOS and Android.
