Full Description

A tax advisory specialist firm is looking for a part or fully qualified Accountant with Tax experience, ideally corporate tax, to join their small team. This role will suit someone with Guernsey or UK tax experience who is adaptable and willing to do technical work, as well as producing accounts. Accounting will form part of the job, however there will also be an element of advice work. The desirable candidate will be articulate and have strong attention to detail, have ideally previously worked in a big 4 accountancy firm, will have knowledge of FRS accounting standards and previous Tax experience. 60% of the role is Advisory and ad hoc:Structure work to include trust and companies.Company admin work, to include liquidations, annual validations, etc. 40% is Accounting/Tax Compliance:Preparing accountsUK self-assessment company returnsCorporation tax returns and iXBRL accounts The role is likely to change and evolve as the business grows, legislation changes and their clients demand new types of assistance.
