Description

** 20hrs Fully Flex**
  • To present products in a way that makes people want to buy them, whilst maintaining corporate brand image and standards
  • To make sure that stock is displayed for purchase and that customers know what products
  • To make sure that customers can pay quickly and easily and leave the store feeling positive

Key Responsibilities:

  • Help Manager with opening/closing by being a key holder and cashing up when necessary
  • Providing a high level of customer service at all times; making every customer feel special, being warm, friendly and approachable, providing well considered guidance, expertise and attention to detail and taking pride in each persons appearance
  • Help with Assistant Manager duties when required
  • Provide a courteous and efficient service to the customer
  • Handle customer refunds/ queries and complaints efficiently
  • Communicate in a clear and confident manner with customers and colleagues
  • Provide the customer with an up to date knowledge of products and services
  • Operate store tills to enable customers to pay for products or receive refunds/ exchanges
  • Serve customers at fitting rooms and provide advice about products
  • Order stock and maintain to the required levels, ensuring price checks are carried out
  • Ensure stock checks and counts are completed accurately and in line with Company process
  • Assisting with inbound and outbound deliveries
  • Ensure stock is presented in a visually appealing and tidy way
  • Supporting the Store Manager and Supervisor to implement visual merchandising standards
  • Representing Crew at all times by presenting a smart and tidy image in appearance and store standards
  • Remove waste and damaged stock from the sales floor and complete required paperwork
  • Assist with moves within the section
  • Use commercial documentation to access information relating to your department
  • Maintain high standards of sales floor and till point hygiene
  • Adhere to Health & Safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment
  • Watch out for theft, fraudulent methods of payment and deceitful purchases
  • Assist with the training and development of new staff
  • As necessary, work out of role in order to meet customer needs
  • Understands the brand SALE strategy and ensures all promotional activity is launched accordingly


Skills & Knowledge Required:

  • Previous experience in a customer facing role
  • Great knowledge of Products
  • Experience of working in a commercial environment preferable
  • Brand Awareness
  • A passion to exceed customer expectations
  • A motivated self-starter that acts with pace and energy
  • An ability to work on own initiative
  • An effective communicator
  • Is able to multi-task, identify priorities and work under pressure
  • Has excellent commercial skills
  • Has a passion for the retail sector and a desire to understand factors which are affecting store performance.

  • Previous experience in a similar role in a retail environment would be helpful
