We are seeking a Senior Staff Nurse to join our Day Patient Unit team based within the Princess Elizabeth Hospital. This position is for a suitably qualified/experienced Endoscopy Nurse.
The Endoscopy unit comprises of one purpuse built suite including a state of the art decontamination and scope processing unit.
The Day Patient Unit is multi-purpose and is open Monday to Friday with an average of 30-55 patients daily, with Endoscopy running 10 sessions per week.
As a leader within the Endoscopy , you will be a role model, ensuring appropriate standards of assessment, planning and implementing evaluation of programmes of care are delivered to patients within DPU and supporting the Bowel Cancer screening service. It is expected that the successful candidate will support thier colleagues on the Ward and co-ordinate the department when required.
