Are you a nurse seeking a breath of fresh air? An opening has arisen for an experienced staff nurse to work within Critical Care Nursing (Band 6) on the beautiful island of Guernsey, Channel Islands. The role holder will deliver individualised patient care, act as a role model to less experienced nursing staff and participate in the development of departmental initiatives to enhance High Dependency and Critical Care. Applicants must be registered nurses with 2+ years post registration Critical Care experience, who have completed National Critical Care Competencies (or have the equivalent knowledge and skill through experience). They will have will an in-depth knowledge of ventilation, sepsis, renal replacement therapy and a thorough understanding of acute cardiac interventions, meeting the National Critical Care Competencies. This role includes a full relocation package, which includes interview and relocation travel, competitive pay and an annual bonus. There is also subsidised accommodation for those travelling to the island alone and an 8-year employment permit for those relocating with a partner and/or family member(s).
