Grade: - PSE Grade C £452.28 - £468.32 per week (£11.9021 - £12.3242 per hour)




We are looking for a Senior Care and Support Staff to be part of a unregisitered care & support team working within Extra care housing (Independent Living) , providing a flexible service 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including bank holidays. Part-time shift work, 8am-3pm or 3pm-10pm, includes weekend and Bank Holiday working.


We work by a 3 week Rota which averages out at 35hrs per week

Preferred for the successful candiate experience of working within an ExtaCare Housing


We would prefer that NVQ3 was already obtained but for the right canddate if they were willing to undertake their medication unit if successsfull in the post with a target completion date followed by commitment to doing the reaming NVQ3 qualifiaction the right person would be considered for the role 


Eventually being able to provide cover for Duty Managers and have responsibility for dealing with emergencies and the service on a shift basis. This will include supervising five PSE Care & Support staff (you will be paid an additional allowance when acting up).

  • Confirmation of required qualifications / registrations
  • Possession of a valid Employment Permit


Should the successful applicant not meet the requirements sufficiently he/she may be appointed at a lower grade than stated. The successful applicant would then have the opportunity to progress to the grade advertised once the necessary skills and knowledge have been developed and they have demonstrated the ability to undertake the duties at the higher level.
