We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, hardworking individual to join our BATIF Bureau de Change Team.

Are you committed to providing a high level of customer service? Are you self-motivated with a good attitude? Well presented with a pleasant telephone manner? Then this could be the job for you. As a team we pride ourselves on providing a high level of customer service.

This exciting role is varied and will suit someone who thrives on working accurately with good attention to detail. The main duties are: -

Processing all orders made via the internet, telephone or by the Guernsey Post retail network
Dispensing orders to customers at the counter
Checking the authenticity of foreign banknotes & travelers’ cheques
Updating of social media to include rates and other relevant information

The ideal candidate for this role will be able to demonstrate: -

Excellent customer service skills
Accuracy and attention to detail
Good numerical skills
Working to deadlines with the ability to multitask

Knowledge and experience of foreign exchange is preferable but not essential as full training will be provided. Contract length: 1st April 2019 till 31st October 2019. Hours of work: 08:30 to 14:00 Monday to Friday, with the potential for extra hours to cover holidays.

The recruitment process requires a basic police clearance. Candidates with unspent convictions for dishonesty or drug offences will not be eligible for appointment.
