We
are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, hardworking individual to join our BATIF
Bureau de Change Team.
Are you committed to providing a high level of customer
service? Are you self-motivated with a good attitude? Well presented with a
pleasant telephone manner? Then this could be the job for you.
As a team we pride ourselves on providing a high
level of customer service.
This exciting role is varied and will suit someone
who thrives on working accurately with good attention to detail. The main duties
are: -
- Processing
all orders made via the internet, telephone or by the Guernsey Post retail
network
- Dispensing
orders to customers at the counter
- Checking
the authenticity of foreign banknotes & travelers’ cheques
- Updating
of social media to include rates and other relevant information
The ideal candidate for this role will be able
to demonstrate: -
- Excellent
customer service skills
- Accuracy
and attention to detail
- Good numerical skills
- Working
to deadlines with the ability to multitask
Knowledge and experience of foreign exchange is
preferable but not essential as full training will be provided. Contract length:
1st April 2019 till 31st October 2019. Hours of work: 08:30
to 14:00 Monday to Friday, with the potential for extra hours to cover holidays.
The recruitment process
requires a basic police clearance. Candidates with unspent convictions for
dishonesty or drug offences will not be eligible for appointment.
