postal service.
About the roles
We are looking to recruit a responsible and conscientious individual who holds a HGV licence to join
our postal team.
The full-time roles will be 37.5 hours per
week to be worked across a 6-day week Monday to Saturday. The work will involve
sorting and processing of outward-bound bulk mail for our customers, driving
and loading/unloading of our trucks.

You’ll need to be flexible, enjoy being active at work and keen to learn new
skills. You’ll also need to be self-motivated and able to work on your own.
Knowledge & skills required:
·
Able to work quickly and accurately with good attention
to detail.
·
Good island knowledge.
·
Basic knowledge of IT and technology.
·
Able to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
·
Physically fit with the ability to walk long distances
and lift heavy items.
·
HGV essential.

What happens next?

reviewed and, if shortlisted, you will be invited to sit the Postal Aptitude Test.
This role also requires a basic police clearance.
Candidates with unspent convictions for dishonesty or drug offences will not be
eligible for appointment.
