Full Description
We are looking to recruit four responsible and conscientious individuals to join our postal team on a
part time basis to assist in processing letters and parcels as part of our
outbound operation.
The hours for 3
of the roles are 16:00 -18:15, Monday to Friday, and 1 role requires a HGV
licence and the hours are 16:00 - 18:30, Monday to Friday.
You’ll need to be flexible, enjoy being active at work and keen to learn new
skills. You’ll also need to be self-motivated and able to work on your own. No
experience of postal work is required as full training will be provided.
The ideal candidate will be able to:
- Able to work quickly and accurately with good attention
to detail.
- Able to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Physically fit with the ability to stand for long
periods of time.
- Driving or HGV licence desirable but not essential.
What happens next?
After you apply, your application will be
reviewed and, if shortlisted, you will be invited to sit the Postal Aptitude Test.
This role also requires a basic police clearance.
Candidates with unspent convictions for dishonesty or drug offences will not be
eligible for appointment.
