Full Description

Alexander Daniels Offshore is working with a business based in Guernsey to recruit a Legal Secretary on a fixed term contract.   Responsibilities:   Producing and amending documentation Scanning, photocopying and filing Sending, retrieving and filing e-mails Printing and collating large documents Conducting company searches and producing reports on the results Opening and setting up of new files and matters including conducting conflict searches and assisting with the client due diligence (“CDD”) requirements for prospective clients Maintenance of files and Bibles where appropriate Dispatching documents by courier and ensuring the relevant paperwork is completed and passed to the Finance team Dealing with clients by telephone and email and taking accurate messages Updating Contact Manager and Business Development databases Providing support to other members of the support team when necessary e.g. during busy periods, sickness or holidays Assisting with the billing process Adhering to all policies, procedures and regulations as required Carrying out any function or activity reasonably required by the fee earners from time to time   Skills and Experience:   Good secondary education A typing/administration/secretarial qualification would be advantageous Experience of working in an office environment and using office equipment   Personal Attributes:   Good typing skills Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload Enthusiasm and flexibility Self-motivated and proactive Accuracy and with an eye for detail Working as part of a team Strong communication skills   Key Details   Category |Legal Level|Admin Type | Temporary Ref Number | AD-GSY-2561
