Full Description
We are looking to
recruit a talented and driven individual to join our IT team. This is a role for
someone with a broad understanding of IT, with sound technical knowledge
including web-based technologies. You will be keen to make a difference and get
stuck into projects.
The role is varied and challenging, and involves:
- Designing technical and business solutions; and working
with suppliers to deliver these.
- Documenting technical requirements for new IT software
systems, changes to existing systems, and integration of processes and data.
- Identifying opportunities to improve business
effectiveness through improved processes, data management and analysis, innovation
of IT solutions and potential migration to cloud services.
- Undertaking investigative troubleshooting and root
cause analysis. Resolving user issues and providing support for the service
desk.
- Configuring and maintaining systems.
Relevant
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
We want to speak to
people who can demonstrate the following:
- Excellent analytical
skills and critical thinking.

Experience of
working with software suppliers and developers to design and deliver web-based solutions
such as customer portals and APIs.

Familiarity
with cloud computing services and concepts.
Ideally you will have a good working
knowledge of relational databases and SQL, experience with Office 365 and MS Azure,
and a working knowledge of server and network infrastructure, including Windows
Server OS, Active Directory, and virtualisation. You may not have all this experience
now, however you will be able to demonstrate your aptitude and willingness to
learn.
