AP Executive leading international investment bank in investing is seeking to appoint a Head of Business and Risk for its offices in Guernsey.The role is to develop the risk team to ensure the banks exposure to compliance and financial crime risk is effectively managed, limited and reduced.The risk team focus on safeguarding the organisation, its reputation, assets and the interests of stakeholders by identifying and managing potential threats to the achievement of the business objectives in relation to new client take-on and existing client maintenance.To be suitable for this role our client is looking for an individual with a good mix of operational, compliance and financial crime and risk management knowledge and experience, with a minimum of 5 to 10 years experience gained in an operational function within a bank or fiduciary company. Solid experience as a business analyst, project manager and/or change management is a benefit. You will also have sufficient experience in articulating, assessing and managing financial crime risk to enable effective risk rating of clients.This interesting position is offering an excellent career path, with above average remuneration and benefits.
