NEW CHEF OPPORTUNITY IN GUERNSEYChef de partie role available in Guernsey, Channel Islands!Our client is a well established hotel and restaurant on Guernsey, boasting great views over St Peter Port and amazing food based on local fresh produce.They are seeking to recruit a Chef de Partie to start immediately, to complete their young and strong brigade.The establishment is offering to the right candidate a long term, full time contract based on a 45 hours/week schedule.Role overview: Work with the Head Chef to prepare menus, including specials Order, prep, and keep stocked the common ingredients for all cooking stations, including vegetables, spices, etc. Follow the guidance of the Head or Sous Chef in the preparation and presentation of the meals Abide by and enforce health codes and cleanliness standards in the kitchen and food storage areas Train and supervise junior chefs, including in best practices, safety, and cleanliness standards Check for plating accuracy (garnish, portion size, correct serving dish etc.) Anticipate and communicate shortages to the Sous Chef or Head ChefThe employer will provide the accommodation and its cost includes the food and lodging.On the job training and development is offered ongoing and paid holiday is included in the package.Experience in the hot kitchen is essential.Candidates must have relevant previous experience of working in a similar role, good English language skills and be eligible to live and work in the UK.There is no visa sponsorship for this role.
