CASUAL
POSTAL WORKERS
Guernsey Post are looking to recruit
responsible and conscientious individuals to join our postal team to help us
process mail during the busy Christmas period.
Candidates will need the ability to work
quickly and accurately with good attention to address detail and to work well
to deadlines. The work requires lifting and standing for long periods of time
so candidates should be physically fit. No experience of postal work is required
as full training will be provided.
Indoor Processing Roles
The Indoor Processing roles involve the sortation
of mail items by postcodes as part of a team.
Hours: Monday to Friday 12:00 – 18:00.
Delivery Roles
The Delivery roles involve the delivery of
local mail items across the island. A driving licence is essential for these
roles.
Hours: Monday to Friday 07:00 – 14:00.
Start Date: Some contracts to commence early September and
others to commence early October. All contracts will run for 5 months.
The recruitment process requires a basic police clearance. Candidates
with unspent convictions for dishonesty or drug offences will not be eligible
for appointment.
Casual Workers
will not be required to take the Aptitude Test.
