Full Description

The primary focus of the role will be

Board member of TMF Group Trustees and subsidiary entities.

Regularly review procedures and if appropriate, recommend changes to the procedures in place to reflect any regulatory changes.

Act as an A signatory for client companies and representative for the trustee of client trusts

Ensure full compliance with legal and regulatory requirements

Implement the Groups business plan in order to achieve the Companys stated objectives

Represent the Company both internally and externally as a senior member of the Company

Act as a Director or Alternate Director on the boards of GFSC licensed and non-licensed of client companies and representative for the trustee of clients trusts

Act as a point of escalation for clients to resolve any business issues. Attend regular client service calls to support team members.

Attend client board meetings where required to support team members.

Lead new business proposals, reviews of client contractual arrangements and new business on-boarding activity.

Monitor and control the workloads of designated teams and monitor progress, ensuring deadlines are met and understood by staff

Direct, maintain and develop relationships with clients at a senior level to ensure a consistent high-quality service

Ensure team members understand how their work aligns to client and business goals

Encourage others to openly express and debate issues

Develops and implements clear action plans for problem resolution and monitoring Champions client service improvement initiatives and follows up on client feedback Anticipates and identifies opportunities to grow our business relationship with clients

Drive continuous operational improvement through engaging leadership

Keep up to date on legal/regulatory/tax-based developments or changes that could affect the business and the service line client base.  Identify the key impacts and in conjunction with compliance, ensure staff are adequately trained on any impact

Assist with the production, and delivery of Guernseys budget P&L and operation performance KPIs

Understand the AML/KYC Risk Assessment processes and sign-off the relevant forms and reports when required

Assist and facilitate the enhancement/development of the Compliance Plan

Ensure clients are billed periodically and monitor work in progress (WIP) figures to ensure maximum recovery.

Assist in monitoring debtors and take necessary action to resolve any outstanding unpaid invoices.

Undertake and assist with the sections workloads as necessary and when required during busy periods of increased activity or sickness and holiday cover ensuring these are carried out in accordance with the procedures and checklists.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

Graduate in a relevant field and a professional qualification. E.g. ICSA, STEP, ACA and or ACCA.

Minimum of 10 years experience in the fund administration industry, including experience at senior management level

A comprehensive understanding of their subject area to explain both the concept and principles to clients, staff and Group representatives

Registered as a Principal Person with the GFSC

Prior people management and leadership experience.
