Prosperity 24.7 is bringing acclaimed author Julian Stodd to the Island to help local businesses understand how to adapt and survive in the Social Age.

Julian’s seminar titled ‘Organisational Change & the Socially Dynamic Organisation’ will take place on Friday 21st April 2017 at the Pomme D’or Hotel. In his own unique style, Mr. Stodd will open discussion around his latest work on the Socially Dynamic Organisation and the framework that can support change from a ‘restrained’ to a ‘dynamic’ organisation.

Mr. Stodd’s global insight stems from working as a consultant for law enforcement agencies, the military and some of the largest companies in the world. Local businesses will learn from his understanding of modern, dynamic companies such as Uber and Airbnb and have the chance to learn how to keep pace with change in the digital world.

The event is open to all and applicable to a wide audience demographic; everyone from directors and business owners, to HR, business strategists and IT Managers, will find the seminar beneficial. It will provide some very significant information to help organisations embrace the digital age with confidence.

Julian Stodd, Author, says:

‘Resistant organisations are ones that see change around them but deny that it will affect them. Constrained organisations, by contrast, understand that they are operating in a new world and are actively doing something about it. Dynamic organisations are rare, but I would argue that to be excellent we must become dynamic, because only a Dynamic organisation can demonstrate true agility, and ability not just to survive but to thrive in times of constant change.’

This is the second time Julian has presented in Jersey. Brought over by Prosperity 24.7 in 2015, Mr Stodd spoke to sell out audiences in both Jersey and Guernsey. The local company is thrilled to bring him to the Island again. Geraldine Evans, Chief Learning Officer at Prosperity 24.7, says:

‘We are very excited to bring Julian back to the Island. The last event sold out so we are hoping to reach out to even more businesses on this occasion. At Prosperity 24.7 we have noticed a huge influx in clients coming to us requiring assistance for change programmes across the Islands. It is a primary issue and managing change effectively in the Social Age is hugely challenging for all sectors of industry.

‘Julian is a real storyteller and a genuine thought-leader and he blew us away at the last seminar. He will be using real case studies to bring scenarios and theories to life, offering a different perspective to encourage the audience to think beyond the norm. He engages all audiences and always makes it relevant on a local level. We are very honoured to be hosting him in the Island and we hope that a number of companies benefit from his ground-breaking ideas and direction.’
