A Guernsey author and Jersey illustrator have collaborated on a children’s book, just in time for Christmas.

‘An Unlikely Friendship’ was penned by Debbie Guillou, and illustrated by Jersey based artist, Kiera Melville.

“It’s been such a pleasure working with Kiera to bring the story of Palmer the dragonfly to life,” said Ms Guillou.

The story follows a dragonfly called Palmer who makes friends with a retired professor. It has been written in rhyme and is aimed at children between the ages of 5 and 9.

The book is now on sale and can be bought on Amazon in paperback or Kindle form. You can read more about the author and the book online.
