Rossborough has appointed a new insurance broker to work in its private clients division.

Paul Corbet has joined the Guernsey-based team which looks after Rossborough’s high net worth private clients. Although he started his career in catering, he has spent the last three years working as a broker for another insurance company.

"Rossborough’s private client division has seen a growth in business over recent years and there has been a real focus on ensuring we deliver a high quality service which meets the needs of our clients. In order to continue delivering the service which our clients have come to expect, it was time to grow the team," said private clients manager Laura Boyd.

"Paul’s insurance experience gives him a good understanding of what policies are available as often our private clients have complex needs to insure property in different jurisdictions."

In his new role, Mr Corbet, who enjoys going to the gym, will be responsible for maintaining existing relationships with high net worth clients and building new relationships with potential customers.

"I am looking forward to taking on a more challenging role and hope that my energetic, organised and knowledgeable work ethic will benefit the private clients team. Having already worked in insurance and completed my certificate in insurance, I’m looking forward to learning more about this particular sector of the industry and contributing towards the excellent service which Rossborough is renowned for," said Mr Corbet who completed his secondary education at St Sampson’s secondary school.
