The Town Regeneration Project will be the hot topic at the next St Peter Port Douzaine Drop-in on Saturday 12 June.

The event that will run from 09:30 – 12:30 at the St Peter Port Constables’ Office, will be hosted jointly by the Douzaine and the States. Those attending can expect to see a visual representation of the proposals and representatives from the States will be on hand to answer any questions.

Drop-in coordinator and douzenier Mary McDermott said that the subject matter was an important one and she recommended those who are yet to see the plans do so.

"This will be the last chance to see the plans as the exhibition comes down after the open morning," she said.

"It’s really important to have the parishioners’ feedback on this topic. The mooted proposals are far-reaching and now is the time to voice an opinion.

"It will be particularly interesting as the States representatives will be on hand to explain the various ins and outs of the process."

The drop-in session is also open to anyone wishing to talk with a douzenier about other parish matters.
