The Association of Guernsey Charities is reminding all members that there will be an Annual General Meeting on Monday 19 April at the Princess Royal Centre for the Performing Arts.
Following the formal part of the AGM, there will be two guest speakers. His Excellency Vice Admiral Sir Ian Corder will provide some personal thoughts about his experiences of the work of the sector, and how it might adapt over the years ahead to meet the changing needs of the community.
Deputy Peter Ferbrache, Chief Minister, will also address members to give some thoughts on greater coordination between Government and the Charitable Sector, and any opportunities or challenges which may lie ahead.
The meeting is only open to organisations which are members of the Association of Guernsey Charities, and starts at 7.30pm, with doors open from 7.00pm. All guests are reminded that they will need to check in, and give a contact telephone number on arrival, and anyone not feeling well or showing any symptoms of Covid-19 must not attend."
