Local musician Eloise Fabbri has teamed up with Guernsey Mind to launch her debut single “Beauty” with an exclusive screening of her music video.
Fabbri's musical roots are built up of a truly elective mix; she doesn’t want to be defined by one sole genre. Her debut plays with the neo-soul sound and broken-down fragments of spoken word. She resonates influences of Amy Winehouse and Erykah Badu.
Eloise describes "Beauty” as "a testament to remind everyone that each one of us possesses a unique beauty and worthiness. In today's society, high beauty standards affect us all, especially young people and causes them to question the skin they’re in."
The strong links with mental health encouraged her to team up with Guernsey Mind to raise awareness of the educational resources and services they provide.
With appearances from a few musical guests, the launch is free to the public and takes place from 7pm on Wednesday 16 December at St James Cafe.
