The handing in date for the Photographic Section of this year’s Eisteddfod is Saturday 29th January. This is at the Grammar School, Les Varendes, St. Andrew, from 10 am to 12.30 pm.
Entry forms are available at The Lexicon, Guernsey Photographics, the Guille Allès Library, Fitzgerald and the Eisteddfod Website.
The visiting Judge is Gordon Brown, who is an Associate of the Royal Photographic Society. He will be giving his comments on a selection of the Digital Projected Image entries at the Vale Douzaine Room on Monday 7th February starting at 8 pm.
On the following evening, Tuesday 8th, also at the Vale Douzaine Room and at 8 pm, he will present an illustrated talk featuring his own work.
Entry is £3 per night or £5 for both evenings. Masks are to be worn and there will be ample spacing in the Main Hall. It is requested that a Lateral Flow Test is taken on the day. Midway through each evening refreshments will be served, with a request for a donation to the Eisteddfod Society.
