Guernsey residents and visitors past and present have wonderful memories of Town at Christmas time but the future is looking dark if we do not raise the necessary funds to support maintenance and improvement of the Christmas lights. Our aim is to raise those funds!

Guernsey residents and visitors past and present have wonderful memories of Town at Christmas time but the future is looking dark if we do not raise the necessary funds to support maintenance and improvement of the Christmas lights. Our aim is to raise those funds!
But how much do we need? Well, for basic management and upkeep of the lights a minimum of £35,000 per annum is required. However, to extend and enhance the festive lighting for present and future generations, around £45,000 per annum is necessary. This money will cover the magical festive light displays across Church Square, Market Square, Smith Street, Fountain Street, the Arcade, Mill Street, the High Street and The Pollet.
