Clothing brands Hobbs and Whistles have moved into Creasey's Department Store and are opening today.
The brands, which are known mainly for their womenswear, are opening at 11:00 and are located together on the High Street level of the department store in the shop previously occupied by Wallis, which has moved up the stairs to join the other womenswear brands on the 1st Floor.
Whistles is a contemporary fashion brand which describes itself as a "shopping destination for the busy, dynamic woman" through intelligent and distinct designs for all occasions.
Hobbs focusses on "current yet timeless" designs that are 'elegant, sophisticated and feminine featuring modern cuts, tailoring and heritage craftsmanship'.
Both brands are owned by The Foschini Group, which also owns Phase Eight, another brand which is sold locally.
Creasey's Managing Director Peter Creasey said: “We are so pleased to be bringing Whistles and Hobbs to the St Peter Port High Street. We believe both brands will prove to be really popular with our customers. Whilst news of the High Street recently has been all about closures, this just shows that there are still successful brands looking to expand and we are very excited to be working with the teams from Whistles and Hobbs to bring something new to Town, at prices 10% less than the UK!”
