Walkers partner Kate Storey has been named as a finalist for Captive Service Professional of the Year at The European & UK Captive Review Awards in London next month.
Ms Storey is a past Chair of the Guernsey Commercial Bar Association, and has previously been recognised as Global Law Experts Annual Awards Insurance & Reinsurance Lawyer of the Year in Guernsey, and as Corporate International Magazine Global Award Insurance & Reinsurance Lawyer of the Year in Guernsey.
Earlier this year she was also ranked in Intelligent Insurer's Influential Women in Re/Insurance for the second year running.
The European & UK Captive Review Awards 2019 will take place on Wednesday 23rd October at the Banking Hall in London. The Captive Review awards are the only awards dedicated to captive insurance expertise in Europe.
Ms Storey, the only lawyer nominated in her category, said: "I am very pleased to have been included in the final shortlist for this prestigious award.
"Our insurance practice in Guernsey is going from strength to strength and is complemented by Walkers' global reach as the only law firm that can offer a combined Guernsey, Jersey, Bermuda and Dublin insurance team."
