Two senior promotions at TMF

Leading professional services firm TMF Group has made two senior internal appointments to lead its operations in the Channel Islands.

Tim Houghton has been promoted to overall Market Head for the Channel Islands. Mr. Houghton joined the company in March 2019 as part of the Private Clients team and became Global Head of Private Wealth and Family Office in December 2019, developing the go-to-market strategy for the practice.

He is a Chartered Member of the CISI, an Affiliate Member of STEP and he holds both the ICSA diploma in offshore finance and administration and the CMI executive diploma in management. 

James Dolton has been promoted to Managing Director for the Guernsey business. 

Mr Dolton joined the business in July 2019 as a Client Director. He was responsible for leading a team of both accountants and administrators as well as establishing the new business process for the TMF Guernsey funds practice. 

He is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.
