Two Mourant lawyers have been recognised as eprivateclient NextGen Leaders for the Channel Islands for 2023.

Senior Associates Alexander Hawkins (pictured top left) from the firm's International Trusts and Private Client team in Guernsey and Chiara Mundy (pictured top right), from the team's Jersey office have both been recognised.

The 2023 eprivateclient Channel Islands NextGen Leaders list is an initiative designed to 'identify, recognise, promote and introduce the rising stars of the private client practitioner community'.

Mr Hawkins joined Mourant in 2020 from a national law firm in Australia. He was named in the eprivateclient Channel Islands Top 35 under 35 in 2021 and 2022, and listed as a Rising Leader in the Private Client Global Elite Directory 2023.

Ms Mundy is listed as a Rising Leader in the Private Client Global Elite Directory 2023, a Rising Star in Private Client, Trusts and Tax in Legal 500 UK 2023, and an Associate to Watch in the area of Offshore: Trusts in Chambers and Partners UK 2023.

Edward Devenport, Partner and Global Practice Leader of Mourant's International Trust and Private Client team, said: "Both Alexander and Chiara are huge assets to our International Trust and Private Client team, possessing the talent and technical excellence to ensure we provide the best possible service to our clients. They are without doubt rising stars of the future and this accolade is very well deserved. Congratulations, both!"
