Two Carey Olsen partners have been recognised in the IFLR1000 Women Leaders list for 2022.

Annette Alexander was included on the Guernsey list with just four other lawyers, while Kate Andrews was listed for the second consecutive year for Jersey.

This year marks the fifth edition of the IFLR1000 Women Leaders list and is the most comprehensive yet, featuring around 1000 lawyers globally. The list recognises elite female lawyers who have outstanding reputations in their markets, and who demonstrate expertise in complex matters and strong leadership.

Ms Andrews has over 20 years' experience of cross-border corporate finance transactions with particular expertise in restructuring and corporate rescue, acquisition finance, fund finance and real estate finance.

Ms Alexander advises on a broad range of corporate matters with a particular emphasis on the establishment, regulation and operation of investment funds, regulatory compliance, capital markets and banking and finance.

To form their prestigious list, IFLR 1000 enlists research teams in Hong Kong, New York and Sofia to analyse thousands of submissions, hold extensive interviews with law firm partners and survey tens of thousands of clients.

“I congratulate all the women in the group who have been recognised by their peers and clients for their outstanding work,” she said.
