EY has promoted Stuart Gardner to Strategy and Transactions Associate Partner in the Channel Islands.

Mr Gardner is a UK Licensed Insolvency Practitioner, as well as a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.

He graduated from Oxford University and gained his professional qualifications in London, before moving to the Channel Islands and joining EY in 2015.

He has experience in formal and non-formal, solvent and insolvent turnaround and restructuring, both offshore and onshore, and has undertaken many restructurings of Channel Islands companies and vehicles across multiple sectors.

“I am proud to be promoted to Associate Partner within the Turnaround and Restructuring Strategy team at EY," Mr Gardner said. "Our firm has an established track-record of helping organisations with disruption and I look forward to building on that legacy here in the Channel Islands.

"In my work, I will continue to support and guide our clients, their stakeholders and advisors, to preserve and recover value in solvent, stressed and distressed circumstances.”

Channel Islands Managing Partner, Andrew Dann, added: “Congratulations to Stuart on this much deserved promotion. Since joining EY, he has made a valuable contribution to the firm’s continued growth and success in Strategy and Transactions service offerings.

"Clients, now more than ever before, need trusted advisors that can offer recommendations underpinned by cutting-edge technology, to develop and support the execution of their strategies. Stuart and his team provide our clients with unparalleled insights and capabilities.”
