Sark hotel received 'Best of the Best' Award

Stocks Hotel in Sark has received the 2020 Travellers’ Choice ‘Best of the Best’ award, based on exceptional reviews on Tripadvisor from holiday-goers around the globe.

The award is given to the ‘ultimate favourite’ of travellers on the site, in the top 1% of hospitality businesses in the world, prior to any changes caused by the corona virus.

Paul Armorgie, director of Stocks Hotel, was delighted that the hard work of his staff has been highlighted.

“We are extremely proud of our dedicated small team of young staff at Stocks who have worked tirelessly to achieve this,” said Mr Armorgie. “The opportunity to promote Stocks Hotel and the island of Sark to a global audience via Tripadvisor will be vital for the continued success of our small, family-owned, island business as we plan for the future.”

Kanika Soni, Chief Commercial Officer at Tripadvisor, felt that the awards were particularly important in light of the challenges the hospitality sector has faced throughout the year.
