Sancus launches digital platform for offshore Co-Funders

Wednesday 28 March 2018

A local finance specialist has announced the launch of a new digital platform for co-funders of their asset-backed lending business.

Sancus specialises in providing bridging and development finance to entrepreneurs and SMEs and operates a hybrid alternative finance model, underwriting and participating in each loan before syndicating out to its pool of Funders.

The new Reporting Platform will allow Co-Funders to review all new funding opportunities across the Group and express interest in those that fit their appetite and risk profile. The interface also allows access to current and historic account data and all supporting financial and legal documentation for each loan participation.

Andrew Whelan, CEO of Sancus said: "Sancus has grown and evolved at an astonishing rate over the last few years and the development of our own online platform has been a crucial part of our strategy. Although we remain very much a relationship business, our technology enables scalability and efficiencies without losing the “human touch” which has always been our core strength.

Following FCA authorisation of Sancus Funding last year we are now working on developing and integrating our platforms to allow real-time trading of all Sancus financing solutions in an FCA authorised environment across the Group."

Designed and developed by SancusIT team, the Platform integrates with the company’s proprietary back-office Loan Management System, which was developed by the same team and launched across the Group last year.
