Resolution IT expands the team

Resolution IT has welcomed four more members to its service desk team.

After studying IT at the College of Further Education, Marc Gouarin started his career in the UK as a broadcast engineer, before returning to the island this year.

"I was looking for a career change with my technology background and Resolution IT offered an exciting opportunity," he said.

Corey De La Rue has joined the team having studied Computer Science at school. He spent some time working in the automotive industry where Resolution IT was the IT provider.

"Uniquely, I had seen Resolution IT from the client's perspective so I knew how professional they were," he added.

Meanwhile, Rhianna Simon and Brad Staples have taken up roles at Resolution IT having just completed their A Levels.

"I've always had a love of IT and was fortunate to have a week's work experience with Resolution IT last year," said Mr Staples. "I knew I wanted to get into the workplace straight after school so made contact with Resolution IT and have been really fortunate to be taken on."

Miss Simon added: "I'm really enjoying the atmosphere and feel it is a place where I can grow my knowledge and skills."

Managing Director of Resolution IT, Steve Brehaut, is pleased to be growing the team.

"We've recruited a cross-section of people with differing IT skillsets but all with the same passion for IT, a desire to learn and grow and a commitment to offer outstanding customer service," he said.

"Everyone who joins us follows a training programme path delivered through our RIT Academy. A mixture of practical teaching is delivered by our more experienced team members and this is combined with courses of industry-recognised study, designed to enhance each individual's particular career path.

"With regular reviews and feedback, our aim is to make sure everyone has the necessary tools and support at their disposal to grow and develop their career with us. We are very fortunate to be able to find great people on-island who want to join us on our journey of enabling every business to succeed and continuously evolve through innovation."
