The international Stock Exchange has broken its record for the number of listings in the first half of 2021, with 507 securities placed between January and the end of June.
This figure represents a 30% increase on 2020 and brings the total number of securities listed with TISE to 3,431.
“I am delighted that we have built on our strong performance in 2020 by delivering record listing volumes in the first half of the year,” said Chair of TISE, Charlie Geffen.
Additionally, the locally based regulated market has increased the number of UK Real Estate Trusts (REITs) listed with them, with 10 new REITs brought in since the start of the year.
“This has been a tremendous effort by the team who have also been working hard to develop our proposition as we seek to build on our position as a major European professional bond market,” said CEO Cees Vermaas.
“It is a fantastic achievement to set a new record for listings in the first half of the year,” he said.
