Recognition for CI Investment Manager

Thursday 11 April 2019

Brooks Macdonald International's Investment Manager, Andrew Prosser has featured in a list profiling "new wealth talent" published Citywire.

Mr Prosser, who is based in Jersey, is the only Channel Islands-based professional to appear in the most recent list.

He was named in the ‘Top 30 Under 30: Class of 2019’ which is compiled annually by the publication and aims to identify rising stars in the UK private client investment management industry. It is the fourth consecutive year Brooks Macdonald’s Channel Islands team has featured in the prestigious list.

In qualifying for the Top 30 list Mr Prosser was assessed on a combination of academic success, professional qualifications, and his responsibilities at and contribution to Brooks Macdonald.

Mr Prosser joined Brooks Macdonald in 2016 and is a member of the International fund selection, asset allocation, portfolio construction and direct equity committees. Having started out in financial services at Ernst & Young, auditing financial services companies, he qualified as a chartered accountant in 2015 and is also a CFA Charterholder.

“We have a real focus on supporting the development of aspiring investment professionals in the Channel Islands, as is evidenced in our regular inclusion in Citywire’s list," said CEO of Brooks Macdonald International Andrew Shepherd. "I’m very pleased to see Andrew recognised this year. To be identified as amongst the very best within the industry nationally is an impressive achievement and one he fully deserves as a clearly very committed, talented and knowledgeable investment manager.”
