PwC makes senior leadership announcement

Monday 06 July 2020

PwC has made a 'pivotal' promotion at its most senior leadership level.

Evelyn Brady has taken over the role of Managing Partner of the company's Guernsey office this month.

She will continue to play a vital role in leading and shaping PwC's strategic direction - a position she has been involved in since her admission to the partnership in 2009.

In addition to her Audit Partner role, which currently sees her focus predominantly on London-listed SE clients, Ms Brady will be the key point of contact for PwC in Guernsey and lead on all the teams based in the island's office.

"I feel incredibly privileged to take on the role of Managing Partner in Guernsey and will continue to work closely with my teams to further boost our capabilities in meeting the increasing needs of our clients," she said. "I'm also very excited about the great opportunities we have as a firm to influence across policy-makers, businesses, educators and wider society on so many important issues, ranging from driving talent, diversity and inclusion, to upskilling the local workforce for a digital world."

Territory Senior Partner, Simon Perry, added: "Evelyn is an exceptional role model for her colleagues at all levels and this appointment reflects our ongoing commitment to invest in the most talented and experienced leaders.

"Evelyn and I joined PwC Channel Islands on the same day in 1993 and it's an amazing feeling to be steering the business together all these years later.

"I have seen Evelyn operate at the highest level across our business and with our most complex clients and I look forward to her bringing her personality, skills and experience to the role as Managing Partner of our Guernsey Office.

"I am delighted that, with Evelyn taking on this role from John Roche, he will get to spend more time with our clients and mentoring our emerging talent. My sincere thanks go to John for his exceptional leadership over his time in this role.

"I know Evelyn's friends and family will be very proud to see her taken on this high profile position and I truly hope it inspires our next generation of female leaders."
